Connetable de Talbot 2016 is a Saint-Julien produced from 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 60% Merlot. This second wine has a dark and rich colour. The nose has notes of flowers and red fruit. Its aromas are enticing, elegant and fresh. The mouth is surprisingly powerful in terms of its tannic structure-considering a second wine is usually less dense than the first. A full-bodied wine with spices and a fruity finish. A great success the 2016 vintage for Chateau Talbot’s second wine.
